FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
AditxtScore
for COVID-19 in Arkansas

Who developed the AditxtScore™ for COVID-19?

AditxtScore™ for COVID-19 is supported by a combination of technologies that were invented by researchers at Stanford University and licensed by Aditxt, scientists at Aditxt’s R&D facility in Mountain View, CA, and scientists in Aditxt’s clinical facility in Richmond, VA.

What is AditxtScore™ for COVID-19?

It is a blood test (i.e., assay) that measures your immune response to the SARS-CoV-2 virus or vaccination.

What is an immune response?

An immune response means that your body’s immune system has been exposed to, activated by, and prepared to mount a defense response to the SARS-CoV-2 virus. This response is measurable by AditxtScore™ for COVID-19.

What is the difference between antigen testing and antibody testing?

Antigen testing by PCR is used to determine active infection status, while antibody testing determines one’s immune response to the virus or vaccination. As we move through this next phase of the pandemic, understanding one’s own immunity status is also important. AditxtScore™ for COVID-19 provides a comprehensive evaluation of the immune response to the virus or vaccine, allowing individuals to know if prior infection or vaccination has resulted in a response that suggests immunity. Talk to your healthcare provider about which test is right for you.

How is AditxtScore™ for COVID-19 different from other antibody tests?

AditxtScore™ for COVID-19 assesses multiple antibody types against multiple SARS-CoV-2 antigens with speed and accuracy. It offers a view of multiple immune parameters in a single test, eliminating the need for multiple test runs.

AditxtScore™ for COVID-19 is also designed to measure levels of neutralizing antibodies, which measure the ability of antibodies to block viral entry into our cells. Levels of neutralizing antibodies have been used as an indicator of protective immunity. The AditxtScore™ platform utilizes a proprietary algorithm to analyze and translate clinical and serological data into meaningful and actionable information for individuals.

What questions does AditxtScore for COVID-19 answer?

AditxtScore™ for COVID-19 provides meaningful information to help evaluate one’s personal immunity status to COVID and not just the population collectively. Specifically, individuals will obtain answers to the following questions:

  • Is there evidence of prior exposure to the SARS-CoV-2 virus or vaccine?

  • Is there evidence that a robust immune response developed?

  • Is there evidence this immune response can protect against COVID-19?

Why do I need AditxtScore™ for COVID-19? I’ll just get a vaccine.

AditxtScore™ for COVID-19 immune monitoring can show whether vaccination has resulted in an immune response that is designed to protect you from the virus. Knowledge of your immune status may provide insight with respect to your future response to an exposure to SARS-CoV-2.
